Community Based Performances
Community-Based Performances,
are held for the general public with the intent of educating the public and
to provide a positive alternative to the portrayal of the Hispanic culture.
Theater for Children is part of this program that includes productions for
children as well as staging productions with children so that they can develop
an appreciation for art and build their self-esteem.
Mainstage Program
Mainstage Program explores classical
and experimental non-traditional theatrical forms in order
to find new cultural expressions among the different ethnic communities in
New York City. The program includes an International Theater Lab created to
study and introduce audiences to international theater works translated into

Visiting Schools
Program / Arts in Education
Series
Visiting Schools Program/Arts-in-Education Series,
TEBA visits public schools and develops theater presentations; reading, writing
and acting workshops. TEBA also brings theater workshops and performances into
schools for students with special needs as apart of the Special Education Workshop
program that has benefitted autistic children as well as physically and
emotionally challenged children.
Touring Program
Touring Program is all year-round family variety
shows held at community centers, hospitals, senior citizen centers, cultural
festivals and non-profit organizations, free of charge. The program's objective
is to foster and promote Latin American literature, music and visual arts.
Workshop Series
Workshop Series, the
company offers workshops and seminars for children, youths and adults in the
disciplines of acting, writing and improvisation. This program includes a Summer
Theater Seminar held in different community parks, providing an educational-
artistic experience for the cast and community youths unifying the theater,
community and nature.
TEBA's Chats
TEBA's Chats, an informal
way of sharing experiences and artistic work by well-known artists or emerging
artists. Serves as a bridge between company members, the community and the experimental
artists. Our chats include book and video presentations; play and poetry readings;
theatrical, cultural and literary lectures.
